London Wetlands Centre

Located on the banks of the Thames in Barnes, The London Wetland Centre is a 43 hectare reserve developed on the site of disused Victorian reservoirs, and is one of the best urban areas in the world to watch wildlife. The London Wetlands Centre is home to rare and beautiful wildlife including Bitterns, Kingfishers and a colony of endangered Water voles, and has free guided tours and bird feeds twice a day. If you need some time out from the hustle and bustle of London, then this is worth a visit.
